Over 60 countries confirm participation in First International Transport and Logistics Forum

The International Transport and Logistics Forum (ITLF) will take place on 1–3 April 2026 in St. Petersburg. The Forum will focus on the development of international transport and logistics corridors, strengthening integration ties within international associations, the digitalization of the industry, the use of autonomous technologies, and the adaptation of transport education to meet the demands of the modern era. Coordinating efforts to establish a unified regulatory and legal framework for the rapid and transparent functioning of the global transport system also remains a key priority.

“Considering the current global climate, there has been a rather high level of interest in the Forum from the international community. As of today, representatives of key ministries and agencies from more than 60 countries have confirmed they will take part in the event. They not only include key partners, such as the Republic of Belarus, China, and India, but also nations from across Africa, Asia, and the Arab world. Over 25 foreign ministers, as well as representatives from international transport organizations and the business sector, have already confirmed they will attend. I am confident that this Forum will become a pivotal fixture on the global transport community’s calendar and will facilitate stronger transport connectivity among the nations of the Global Majority, thereby contributing to their prosperity and resilience,” Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the ITLF Organizing Committee Anton Kobyakov said.

The ITLF business agenda will address such issues as global cooperation and regulation within the transport sector, advances in all types of transport with the introduction of new technologies and products designed to ensure comfort, speed, and safety in both freight and passenger transportation, as well as improvements to the infrastructure of major international transport corridors.

“The event will be attended by representatives of major Russian and international businesses: manufacturers and developers of cutting-edge transport solutions, transport and logistics companies, and experts in logistics and infrastructure. Over 250 Russian companies and more than 40 foreign companies from over 20 countries, including China, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Türkiye, and Kyrgyzstan, have already confirmed they will participate in the ITLF,” Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Andrey Nikitin said.

The Forum participants will discuss practical solutions, exchange industry knowledge within the transport sector, and propose a comprehensive interstate agenda for the regulatory and tariff frameworks that govern transport systems. Discussions and roundtables held on the sidelines of the ITLF will include representatives from the Executive Committee of the Coordinating Transport Meeting of the CIS Member States, the Organisation for Co‑operation between Railways, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Secretariat of the International Maritime Organization, the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation, and the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Russia is hosting the ITLF for the first time. It will promote the implementation of instructions issued by Russian President Vladimir Putin to ensure the global competitiveness of national transport corridors, including the execution of decrees that are aligned with the country’s national goals through the periods of 2030 and 2036.

The Forum is being organized by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and managed by the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation. The National Partners are Aeroflot and the Natsproektstroy Group. The General Partner is FESCO Transport Group. The Strategic Partner is Rosseti.
