“The International Transport and Logistics Forum has emerged as a platform for an open international dialogue amidst the challenges currently facing the global transport industry. The inaugural International Transport and Logistics Forum is being attended by about 6,000 participants from 82 countries, including 14 ‘unfriendly’ nations: Belgium, the UK, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Poland, the Republic of Cyprus, the Republic of Korea, the United States, Finland, Switzerland, Estonia, and Japan. Russia is committing to developing an equitable and constructive dialogue with members of the international community and continues to attract significant interest from the global business community,” Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the ITLF Organizing Committee Anton Kobyakov said.
The ITLF took place in St. Petersburg on 1–3 April in accordance with directives from President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin about enhancing the global competitiveness of Russia’s transport corridors, including the implementation of decrees that align with the country’s national goals through both 2030 and 2036.
The Forum was organized by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation and managed by the Roscongress Foundation.
