With a collection boasting some 500,000 artefacts from 157 people groups from Russia and neighbouring countries, the Russian Museum of Ethnography is one of the largest of its kind. The museum’s exhibits provide a unique opportunity to experience first-hand the material cultures of the peoples inhabiting the vast expanses of Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, Siberia, and Central Asia.
