The literary and memorial exhibition of the Gavrila Derzhavin Villa-Museum occupies 16 interior halls of the Central Building of the manor house. The great poet and statesman lived here for a quarter of a century. The reception and living spaces, the home theatre, and the kitchens have been recreated with meticulous precision. The exhibition includes many unique pieces of furniture, decorative and applied art, and portraits of the owners and people who visited during Derzhavin’s life. All this provides visitors with the rare opportunity to immerse themselves in a bygone era.
